Rise and shine in the early morning
Shine your light all through the day
Makes no difference what they tell you
Jesus Christ is still the way
For the good Lord said He loves you
In Him your strength you'll find
Even though the world may use you
Get on up, rise and shine

Little children do not worry
Put yourself right on the line
There's no need in walking backward
Turn around, go rise and shine
If your load always seems heavy
And your problems hard to find
Pick yourself up from the ground
Jump back up, go rise and shine
